The Naturaliste Volunteer Sea Rescue Group provides sea search
& rescue services to the southern end of Geographe Bay and the
Cape Naturaliste area.
We operate from a modern boatshed headquarters located at the
Quindalup Boat Ramp on Geographe Bay Road, Dunsborough.
We are an entirely volunteer group. Members contribute
many hours of their time to training for and conducting sea search
and rescue operations and assisting with sea related community
activities..
Our funding is sourced from the Fire and Emergency Services
Authority (for a proportion of operating expenses); Lotterywest
grants (for some capital expenses); donations and fund raising.
We welcome new members. Training is conducted 2-3 times a
month on a Thursday evening commencing at 5.30 PM. You don't
need to own a boat or even have any sea experience. There are
a vast range of activities in which you can participate and
excellent training is provided in each area. You will build
your skills and knowledge; make a worthwhile contribution to the
community, meet new people but the only guarantee we make is that
you will have FUN.
If you would like to enquire about our activities or becoming a
Member please contact our Commander, Geoff Brierley on
